All Riders Meet at: Rogers Rd and Sperry Rd, Patterson
Park behind the Jack in the Box
Start time - All Riders: 9:00 AM
We recommend that you arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM as parking is limited.
Ride Details: This is an annual Breakfast Ride sponsored by the Stanislaus County Bicycle Club (SCBC). This route is one of our club's most popular ones.
Distance: 33 miles with Moderate Climbing, (43 miles if you go to the top and back)
Turn by turn:
Go South on Rogers Rd
Right on Sperry Rd
Cross under Freeway (I-5)
Right on Del Puerto Canyon Rd to DPC Recreational Vehicle Park
Return on same route.
The ride to DPC Recreational Vehicle Park is something most riders can do. It's mostly uphill on the way out, and mostly downhill on the way back.
The return ride to Patterson can be a fast and thrilling ride. Remember to stay in the right lane to avoid oncoming cars.
You'll need to save a little bit of energy for the last three miles, as you will get to do just a little more climbing before getting back to the start.
SCBC volunteers will be serving breakfast at the Del Puerto Canyon Recreational Vehicle Park at mile 16, on the right side of the road. (Not the park on the left.)
Breakfast donation is $5.00. However, if you join SCBC on New Year’s Day, you will get breakfast free, and you will get a bonus of 3 extra months of membership, plus you will get a free breakfast next New Year’s Day as well.
And this year, Oakdale Bike Shop is providing prizes for a drawing. All who start or renew their SCBC membership on New Year’s Day will be entered in the drawing.
First prize, a Level 4 Tune-up (which is a full overhaul) - $200 value,
Second prize, a set of Michelin Pro 4 Tires - $120 value,
Third prize, Lizard Skin bar wrap - $40.00 value!
