==================

Ride Details: This is an annual Breakfast Ride sponsored by the Stanislaus County Bicycle Club (SCBC). This route is one of our club's most popular ones.

SCBC volunteers will be serving breakfast at the Del Puerto Canyon Recreational Vehicle Park at mile 16, on the right side of the road. (Not the park on the left.)

Donation is $5.00. However, if you join SCBC today, you will get breakfast free, and you will get a bonus of 3 extra months of membership. So, you will get breakfast provided on January 2013 as well. Click here to download a printable SCBC Member Application.

That means you will get 15 months of membership with all club benefits, and two breakfasts for just $25 for an individual membership and $35 for a family membership. Membership includes: discounts at local bike shops, plus an invitation to club picnics, swim parties and general meetings.

Distance:   33 miles
Moderate Climbing

Turn by turn:

Go South on Rogers Rd
Right on Sperry Rd
Cross under Freeway (I-5)
Right on Del Puerto Canyon Rd

The ride to DPC Recreational Vehicle Park is very doable. It's mostly uphill on the way out, and mostly downhill on the way back.

The return ride to Patterson can be a fast and thrilling ride, if you have legs left after the climb. You'll need to save a little bit for the last three miles, as you will get to do just a little more climbing before getting back to the start.
